Dalkard Elliott Experience

Dalkard Elliott experience – guest blog by Kelly Payne.

By simply walking into the Dalkard Elliott showroom you can tell that this is a different kind of “carpet shop”. I was greeted at the door, not by a salesman asking me what I needed, but by the offer of a cup of tea and a biscuit! Usually the hard sell starts straight away in a carpet shop, but I must say I was dealt with in the kindest and most helpful way.

As I looked around the showroom, I had a feeling that the layout had been carefully thought out. There weren’t stacks of carpet jammed packed into the space, there is an open plan feel to the showroom. Furthermore, I found this to be really pleasant. The light airy feel makes it a lot easier to imagine the carpet in your own home.

I was particularly impressed by their range of quality carpets. I have pets so I needed a carpet that was good quality and going to last. This I found in abundance! I choose a dark brown carpet for my stairs and hallway that looks great! Also, the fitters were really friendly and tidied up after themselves leaving no mess behind. Just a beautiful new carpet!

I must also say the advice on the underlay was priceless and make such a difference to the feel of the carpet – thanks Steve.

Now I have the new carpet I’m thinking that it might be time to freshen up the curtains. Luckily for me Dalkard and Elliott have a bespoke curtain section too – might need some new cushions as well…

Would fully recommend you try the Dalkard and Elliott experience if you need a new carpet.
